Thematic groups
The Conference papers have been divided into four (rather broad) thematic groups:
Group 1: Language aquisition
Group 2: Treanslation, discourse
Group 3: Morphology, semantics, phonology
Group 4: Syntax
You can find an overview of the papers according to group here.
Papers in group 1 and 2 are presented in auditorium 2, and those ingroups 3 and 4 in auditoruim 3.
The four groups are indicated by different colours in the Conference program.
Every afternoon there will be a seperate discussion session for each of the four thematic groups at the following venues:
Group 1: seminar room 1
Group 2: seminar room 5
Group 3: seminar room 3
Group 4: seminar room 4
These group sessions are meant as informal meeting places where the participants - over a cup of coffee - will have the possibility of discussing questions arising from the papers read that day, and get to know PhD-candidates in the same or related disciplines. Senior researchers will also be present and participate in the discussions. Participants who are not presenting a paper should feel free to attend the group that best coincides with their research interests.
