goldenboy went national today as the popular radio station p3 aired a rather bizarre interview with the band : the topics were wide and diverse ranging from easy-listening comments about genre prejudice to complaints about constipated toilets in the us : excerpts from the new album were played and pink was played in full : the radio show is available for streaming, but you'll have to listen to a good 40 minutes of trash before you get to the....eeeh, trash : click the picture for more info :

arlan put a lot of work in it but despite her efforts goldenboy will not 'warm up' pink while she's in norway : the management decided that all backing bands had to be signed on major labels and let's face it goldenboy isn't quite there : yet : still it was kind of nice hanging around believing for a split second that in march the boys would play oslo spektrum with the coolest girl in the world : anticipation is smooth, rejection is cruel : maybe next time :

some extremely long days and nights have passed and the new goldenboy album is almost completely recorded : a lot of work is left for vince and perry, but they bring the raw material back with them to the netherlands on thursday to wrap everything up : there's a lot to look forward to, in the meantime you can check out a few photos from the recording sessions right here : for the hard-core fans there's even a short video right here :

As the boys from goldenboy are well on their way to the "Working class hero"-festival in Drammen, it's a pleasure to confirm and elaborate on the latest gossip. The internet is a scary place, but as we've awaiting the arrival of Perry & Vince from the Dutch group Travoltas, we can only emphasize the more positive sides of online life. Talk about cyber-dating. The two brave men will touch ground in Bergen on 16 June and will take goldenboy through the production of their first full length album. Yet untitled, the cd will probably contain 10-12 great tracks. Life is grand. Recording will take place in Rec90 studio where goldenboy have recorded their last two ep's: Sending love across the waters and Never ending happy ending.
