Associate Professor (førsteamanuensis) at the English dept. of
the University of Bergen since August 2003. PhD degree (dr. art.) in
Comparative Literature (Univ. of Bergen) in 2001, Master of Arts (cand.
philol) in Comparative Literature (Univ. of Tromsø) in 1995. Visiting
Scholar at Wolfson College, at the Univ. of Cambridge, from August 2002
to July 2003. Lecturer at the W. B. International Summer School in Sligo,
2005.
Primary research interests and areas of supervision
• British poetry from 1790 to the present.
•
Modern literary theory.
•
Irish literature, with an emphasis on W. B. Yeats and contemporary poetry.
